Training for individuals: Sexual violence awareness course (multiagency)

Our sexual violence awareness course is delivered either over one day (in person in East Oxford) or over two half-days (on Zoom). This course aims to develop your knowledge, skills and confidence relating to sexual violence and the support needs of survivors. You will learn theory, consider case studies, and put your skills into practice – all in a supportive, interactive learning environment facilitated by a highly experienced trainer.

The course covers:

  • The nature and prevalence of sexual violence
  • Common perpetrator tactics
  • Myths surrounding sexual violence
  • The impacts of sexual violence
  • Barriers to disclosure and overcoming them
  • Creating a safe environment for disclosures
  • Responding appropriately and managing trauma responses
  • Options following disclosure, including for recent incidents

Full price: £180
Rate for charities: £120

These prices include course delivery and materials for each person. Failure to cancel a booking within seven days of the course running will result in the full cost of the course being charged.
