OSARCC ISVA Manager shortlisted for Thames Valley Criminal Justice Charity Award

Huge congratulations to our ISVA Manager Léa Maquin, who has been shortlisted for a Thames Valley Criminal Justice Charity Award!

Léa leads our Independent Sexual Violence Advocacy (ISVA) team at OSARCC, and has been shortlisted in the ‘Contribution to Sexual Violence’ awards category.

Our ISVAs work with survivors engaging with the criminal justice system. They are trained sexual violence and criminal justice system specialists, and provide information and support for those who have reported their experience to the police, or are yet to decide if they want to report.

OSARCC CEO, Lauren Kendall, said: “Léa is so passionate about her work and a dedicated and loyal colleague. Her contribution to OSARCC since joining five years ago has been immense: she is a true champion of survivors’ voices and is never afraid to challenge the shortcomings of the criminal justice system. We couldn’t be prouder of her and are so pleased to see her talents recognised!”

The Thames Valley Partnership provide services and support to victims, offenders and families involved in or impacted by criminal, civil and family justice issues. The 2023 awards evening will take place in March 2024 and is sponsored by Lloyds Foundation.
